Neurotica Fest Film Hour
Two summers ago I worked on the short film Pharmacy Friends as the director, cinematographer, and editor. Written by Shayna Nash (An Extraordinary Item) and starring Bradleigh Bleecker (Hi Momo) and Jessie Maye Christopher (Kindling Spirits), Pharmacy Friends sees two women go on their lunch break in a pharmacy to escape the outside world. On September 11th, its having an in-person premiere in New York City at the UNDER St. Marks Theater as a part of Neurotica Fest (September 10-13, 2026)! What is Neurotica Fest?
Launched by multiple award-winning actor, writer and solo performer, Iris Bahr (Curb Your Enthusiasm, Hacks, Stories from the Brink!), Neurotica is a 4 day festival that brings to NYC fresh perspectives, fascinating life stories, edgy and delightful clown and bouffant shows, plus in-depth conversations with renowned authors from across the US and Canada.
The festival is comprised of solo shows, stand-up, bouffant, storytelling , book readings and films. Bahr is proud to champion artists as yet unseen on the NY stage, and have Neurotica fest be the NYC premiere for such a diverse group of compelling artists.
The film hour will feature several short films and their creators. I'll be there and answering questions as a part of the post viewing Q&A, contingent on someone having a question to ask me.
